hiii my 1st time at ppb was the best!!! i have to say the owner hired great girls!!! the spanish girl in the front desk was really nice ( i think too nice)it really nice to come in a nail salon and feel like your at a girlfriends house..the music is perfect! the best part is that everything is soooo clean!!

I just wanted to comment to Tricialee, that I just finished reading an article about the Polish Bar of Brooklyn in Black Enterprise November 2007. After browsing the website and reading the philosophy, it's amazing. All the way from Cincinnati, OH I wanted to tell you great job!!! I've never visited New York before, but when I do I'll stop by! Maybe for my 25th birthday coming up. Thanks for the motivation.

I visited your salon for the first time on Sunday, June 1 with a family member and I immediately fell in love with PBB way before being serviced. The staff is extremely friendly and proficient in their craft. I have a made up mind that once a month I will travel from New Jersey just to get pampered. In the future, please consider opening up a salon in New Jersey, perhaps in the Newark or New Brunswick area. It is truly worth the drive. Thank you! Thank you!

Would have liked if I were told that I could pick my shade of polish from the ones in various spots in the store. I am used to salons that have someone ask me which shades I like and then bring them over to me so that I can select my preference. Your space seems to be to small for your customer base, it is hard to find a spot to sit and the window seats are not comfortable. Please accept my comments as critiques, not criticism.

My service was great. I'm impressed. My manicure and pedicure was really nice. I was apprehensive because I went to PPB when it first opened and was disappointed with the service, my nail polished peeled off 2 hours after I got it done and my pedicure was not good at all. But I had a great experience this time and will return.

I enjoyed my manicure @ Polish Bar... The only element I felt was missing was some complimentary treats that could be served such as, cupcakes and small drinks) Also, if you don't want to serve them you could even have them for sell. I like to have something to snack on while waiting to be helped. Otherwise, everything else is divine!!!

I was given a gift certificate to pbb as a graduation gift in 2007. I never used the gift certificates, but attended a private pamper party for my friend Samantha's 30th birthday. I had such a good time that I immediately booked an appointment to use my year old gift certificates. I got a two week mani and basic pedi and it was fabulous. The service was top notch, the atmosphere just right, and the price was more than fair. I'm coming back next week to get the Aloe pedi and I can't wait!

I had a great experience, and just as importantly, at a very fair and reasonable price. Unfortunately, I never got the name of the woman who provided all my services, but she was excellent. Very attentive and detail oriented. Normally, I get waxing, manis and pedis in Manhattan near where I work. Due to a wedding I had that weekend, I decided to try a place in the neighborhood for the first time. (And I have lived here many, many years) I was thrilled with my service and the results and am looking forward to making PBB my new place. I also appreciate you fitting me in on such short notice. Hi. I am interested in becoming a client. This is the first time I have heard of the UV Gel treatments, and I'm am interested in trying it out. I typically like to wear my nails natural, so this seems like the treatment for me. I would like to know how often must I get this treatment for my nails? Thanks and keep up the good work!

The pedicure was HEAVENLY!! I really enjoyed it. I wasn't too fond of my silk wrap though, next time I will get a simple manicure. But overall, the service was great; I found the staff and the owner to be friendly, courteous, and exceptionally professional. I will Definitely be back.

The atmosphere was feminine and upscale. Definitely a place to go if you want to feel pampered at affordable prices. I was pleased with the results of my manicure and pedicure; however, It would have been fine by me if the worker(pedicurist) was not as gentle with exfoliation or removing my cuticles. Otherwise, no complaints.

On Sunday I came in and had a brazilian, eyebrow, and lip waxing. xxx serviced me, and I must say this was the first time that I have ever had a brazilian wax and she made me feel very comfortable and she worked very quickly. However, I was disappointed with the results. I specifically stated that I wanted all of the hair underneath removed and some hair left on the front. I did not expect to go through so much pain to come home and still have to shave. There were small patches of hair left in the inner lip as well as the outer lip. Though I was not 100% satisfied I am willing to give the polish bar another try, I recognize that customer service is a priority for your company and appreciate this. I am also looking forward to scheduling my next appointment with xxx I'm confident that the next go round she'll pay more attention to the details, I was pleased with the brow and lip waxing and intend to return this weekend for a manicure and pedicure. Thanks for allowing me to post my comment.

Hello, Saw a spot about your shop on some show on TV and have to tell you, looks like you have a winning formula. I moved from Queens, NY to the Lehigh Valley in PA and cannot tell you how ridiculous the salons are here…. I would go to your salon if it were here in my neighborhood! Pedicures alone cost $40 around here and I must get mine when visiting family on visits to New York. Anyway, just wanted to tell you that it looked to me like you had a formula for success. Congratulations! Won't you branch out to the Lehigh Valley or inform me as to how to start my own shop! (seriously though I am in the insurance industry and have no plans to change careers just to get my own pedicures at a reasonable price) Regards and continued success.

I have been trying to book a polish bar party since the middle of December. I spoke to a receptionist on 3 SEPARATE OCCASIONS. Each time it was stated that "someone would get back to me." No one ever did. I think it is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL.
